Are You Feeling “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead”?

You’ve all heard me yammering away here about the green juice. I somehow try to sneak it in to every post. There are actually subliminal juicing messages embedded in every article. OK, not really but I wish there could be!

The reason why I am so fired up about juicing vegetables is because it has changed my life in really profound ways. You may be thinking, a green grassy tasting drink changed your life…..really?? Yes, really and I’m not throwing around the word profound lightly. Physically the green juice has provided significant weight loss (6 sizes so probably 55-60 pounds), has healed my acid reflux problem so I no longer am on Prilosec which I as on for about 8 years, has cleared up my chronic ruddy complexion, and has given me so much more energy that I started running which is something I haven’t had the energy to do in about 20 years. These things in and of themselves are fantastic. But what’s even more fantastic is the way this all makes me feel. I feel physically better. I feel healthy. And this makes me feel confident which spills over into every area of my life. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—it’s the miracle of green juice!

Why am I telling you this? Because I want you to experience this miracle for yourself. So I am here today to challenge you—challenge you to start juicing. Don’t be frightened—you do not have to do a juice fast. I’m challenging you to add one or two fresh pressed vegetable juices into your routine every day and see how you feel. You will still be eating. But my hunch is that if you are adding in the super nutrition of fresh vegetable juice your eating might start to shift as well to more nutrient dense whole foods and less processed full of things I can’t pronounce “foods”. I don’t know—it’s just a hunch. You’ll have to see for yourself.

So how ‘bout it? Who is up for a potentially life changing challenge?? Come on—I dare you. What are you chicken? Scared of a few vegetables? You have to check with your mom first? I thought I should throw in a little trash talk to try and get you riled up. Yeah, that’s the best I could come up with—did it work??? Trash talkin’ aside I want you to do this not because I’m daring you to do it (although if that’s the only way it is going to happen then yes I am daring you) but because you have been looking for a way to get on a path to better health. Because you are sick of feeling crappy, or mediocre, or achy, or tired. Because you want to get a handle on your blood pressure or cholesterol or stomach issues. Because you are tired of the extra weight and diets aren’t working any more. Or because you simply want to improve your already good health. I want you to do this so you might have the same life changing experience that I have had.

OK, who is going to finally do this—who is ready to start juicing and feeling better?!? Leave your comments below. You may just be a few juices away from better health—why wouldn’t you??

I WANT TO START A 3 DAY TONIGHT! however, i don’t have a juicer? does anyone make green juice that I can buy pre-made? or does that defeat the unprocessed (un-pasturized) point?

Hi Sar! It might not be the best time to do a cleanse since you will be doing a lot of driving–you can become more tired than normal while cleansing. I would wait until you land to be safe. If you just want to add in some juice you can google wherever you are and see if there might be a juice place nearby. The stuff you get in the grocery store tends to be a lot of fruit juice (when you juice fruit you are getting a lot of natural sugar) and yes pasturized so you are losing a lot of the nutrients.
